Valerie Boyer, a member of the French Senate, went on Facebook and called to support Armenia.
"I invite France, alongside European and international institutions, to launch a major movement for Armenia. There can be no double standards between Ukraine attacked by Russia and Armenia attacked by Azerbaijan," wrote the French politician, attaching the hashtags SaveArmenia and StandWithArmenia at the end of her post.
The Armenian side has more than 200 casualties and missing as a result of Azerbaijan's military aggression against Armenia on September 13. The Azerbaijani army continues to be in the sovereign territory of Armenia.
