Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan, accompanied by a group of senior officials, on Tuesday visited the Freedom Fighters’ Park in the capital Stepanakert, and laid flowers on the plaque in memory of those fallen in the 44-day war in the fall of 2020.

Subsequently, the Head of State, together with representatives of the clergy, third President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan and officials of the executive and legislative branches of power, took part in the cross procession dedicated to the aforesaid fallen.

And at the Stepanakert Memorial, President Harutyunyan attended the consecration of the Altar of Light monument dedicated to the 44-day war and the memorial service for the freedom fighters fallen for the defense of the Motherland. Thereafter at the military pantheon he laid flowers on the graves of the martyred heroes.
