YEREVAN. – Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, met with the Azerbaijan presidential aide, Hikmet Hajiyev, on Tuesday at the White House—and at the initiative of US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

The parties discussed the process of long-term peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, as well as the need to establish peace in the region, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Office of the Security Council of Armenia.

Also, eliminating the consequences of the recent military aggression was underscored.
