Deputy Chief of Armenia's Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Arakel Martikyan said they have left only those positions where their comrades-in-arms have fallen. As of today, they know where the bodies of the comrades are, as well as how many of them there are. His remarks came during  the meeting with ambassadors accredited in Armenia in Kut village of Gegharkunik region today, confirming, in fact, the information about the bodies of fallen Armenian military servicemen at one of the positions located on the hill near Verin Shorzha village.

According to the representative of the General Staff, this topic is very painful for them.

"A soldier who sacrificed his life for his country must be buried under the same way as a soldier," Martikyan said.

Azerbaijan, meanwhile, announced a supposedly humanitarian ceasefire.

"However, the humanitarian ceasefire provides for the evacuation of the wounded and remains. Our attempts to pick up the remains of our comrades were met with a barrage of enemy fire. It was announced that the Azerbaijani side would return the bodies of our servicemen. We know that there are bodies and that they are located directly on the positions," the deputy head of the General Staff said.
