Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation today with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with whom he discussed the situation in Ukraine, MK reported, citing the Kremlin press service.

The Russian president also gave a principled assessment of the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

The Kremlin statement noted that this is essentially "an act of international terrorism."
