Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Armenia's National Minorities Day.

"Dear representatives of the national minorities of Armenia!

In 2021, among the holidays and commemorative days of the Republic of Armenia there is one more holiday - National Minorities Day of the Republic of Armenia, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of October.

The national minorities of Armenia, as part of the family of the world nations, are an inseparable part of Armenia's population, enriching Armenia with the peculiarities of their identity.

By enshrining this day in the list of our country's holidays we tend to draw public attention to a small but important part of our country, representatives of different nationalities living side by side, to their identity, recognition and solution of their problems.

Rest assured that our support will not be long in coming.

I congratulate the representatives of all the national minorities of Armenia on this holiday, I wish them good health, peace, progress and success," Armenian Prime Minister's congratulatory message reads.
