Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in Geneva on a working visit, met with Philip Reeker, U.S. State Department Chief Counselor for Caucasus Negotiations and OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair, on October 2, Armenian Foreign Ministry informed NEWS.am.

The Foreign Minister presented details of Azerbaijan's recent military aggression against Armenia's sovereign territory, and stressed the importance for international partners to take clear steps to eliminate its consequences and prevent new aggressions, including the implementation of international mechanisms.

Touching upon the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces with particular cruelty, the videos of which are widely circulated by the Azerbaijani side in social networks, Minister Mirzoyan stressed that the Armenian side will do its best to bring the perpetrators to justice.

During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon a number of issues related to regional security and stability, exchanged views on Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
