The issue of participation of the forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in the zone of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is not on the agenda, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aibek Smadiyarov said, reports Tengrinews.kz.

"Kazakhstan proceeds from the principles of territorial integrity of states and sovereign equality in accordance with international law and the UN Charter. In general, the CSTO area of responsibility is clearly delineated by internationally recognized territories of the organization's member states, and collective security is ensured within these territories. Thus, the issue of CSTO involvement in the zone of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is not on the agenda," he said.
