The sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia are not subject to discussion. Speaker Alen Simonyan of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia announced this to reporters in the NA Tuesday.

The NA speaker has not read the article of the Haykakan Zhamanak daily—belonging to PM Nikol Pashinyan's family—where the five demands of Azerbaijan are presented, but he assured: "We have not accepted any demand, there is no document, one cannot ask the same question constantly making a reference to various media. There is no precondition."

To the question why the Armenian authorities do not disclose what Armenia's proposals are in the negotiations, the NA speaker responded: "Because those proposals have not been discussed and have not been decided. They exist, [but are] not disclosed? They are not subject to disclosure now."

Haykakan Zhamanak daily, citing a reliable source, had written on Monday that Azerbaijan has the following five main demands from Armenia:

1) Dissolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Defense Army.

2) Recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan—and without any autonomous status; that is, with no status.

3) Corridor through the territory of Armenia.

4) Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation and demarcation process with the maps of 1919 and 1920 (so far it is not known exactly which maps it is about).

5) Clarification of the fate of the missing Azerbaijanis—with the future possibility of a trend to accuse Armenia of war crimes.
