Finnish MPs have supported a bill to ban the sale of real estate to Russian citizens, the TV channel YLE.

Transactions are still possible, despite the ban on tourist visas for Russians. With the proposal to limit transactions with real estate made by the Ministry of Defense of Finland - according to military officials, it should improve the security of the country.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin expressed the view that there are prerequisites for the construction of fences on part of the state border between Finland and Russia.

Land border between Finland and Russia is about 1.3 thousand kilometers long. According to the estimates of the Finnish Border Guard Service, the physical barrier on the border should be about 260 kilometers long.
