Azerbaijan wants to get a corridor to Nakhchivan through Armenia, but outside its control, in order to maintain its connection with Nakhchivan without any obstacles and long-term guarantees, Javad Hedayati, Director General of the IRI Road and Road Transport Transit Organization, said in an interview with ILNA.

According to him, Baku wants to establish a direct corridor for energy trade from the Caspian Sea to Turkey under the coordination of allies. "We must pay attention to the fact that the current situation is unlikely to persist and continue, so we must be prepared for any situation," he said.
