The First Vice President of Iran proposed to the Caspian Economic Forum to create a common economic zone in the Caspian region, RIA Novosti reported.

"Iran advocates the development of comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries, especially the Near Caspian countries... In order to use the greatest potential of the countries and private sectors of the Caspian Sea countries, we propose to create a common economic zone as well as a green customs corridor in the Caspian region," said Mohammad Mokhber.
