The terrorist attack in Shiraz will not go unanswered, said Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

Expressing condolences to the families of the victims, Raisi noted that the terrorists have once again committed another heinous crime and added another to the list of crimes committed by the enemies of the Islamic Revolution.

"Experience shows that the enemies of Islamic Iran retaliate against the people of the country and resort to any means to impede the country's progress through violence and terror," Raisi added. He stressed that this atrocity will not remain unanswered, and security forces and law enforcement agencies will give a harsh response to the organizers of the attack.

The terrorist attack took place at the shrine of Ahmad ibn Musa (Shah Cheragh) in the southwestern city of Shiraz on Wednesday evening, killing 15 people and injuring more than 20.
