Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested considering changing the structure of the United Nations (UN) and the UN Security Council: it should reflect the world's diversity, RIA Novosti reported.
"In this regard, perhaps we should consider that the structure of the United Nations, including its Security Council, should reflect to a greater extent the diversity of world regions, because much more will depend on Asia, Africa, Latin America in the world of tomorrow than it is considered today, and such growth of their influence is certainly positive," Putin said at the plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
