Armenia has agreed to work on the basis of the main principles and parameters proposed by Russia with respect to the establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and is ready to confirm this in Sochi, Russia, the Armenian Prime Minister has noted on Twitter Friday morning.

"We hope that Russia will support its proposals," Nikol Pashinyan added.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Thursday that a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is needed, and Russia supports a peaceful settlement.

He added that the Armenian people and the leadership should choose which option they need, but any option that leads to peace will be acceptable to them.
