There is no initiative to ban the import of Turkish goods. The chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) told this to reporters in the National Assembly Tuesday—and with respect to the import of Turkish goods into Armenia and possible respective bans.
"I don't see the need for such an initiative," said Rustam Badasyan.
And to the question whether he thinks that the Armenian economy can be “swallowed” by the Turkish one, the SRC chief gave a short answer: "No, I don't think so."
