The expansion and strengthening of the relations between Tehran and Yerevan will ensure Armenia's territorial integrity and prevent the creation of the Zangezur corridor, Iranian expert on the Caucasus Ehsan Movahedian in his exclusive interview with ILNA.

According to him, the Zangezur corridor aims to grant a monopoly on the transit of goods and energy resources to countries that don't have good relations with China, Russia, and Iran. 

He noted that NATO's attempt to gain access to the Caspian region aims to both blockade Iran, China, and Russia and to strengthen separatist currents in these countries.  

Iran has various solutions to neutralize this plot, one of which is to expand and strengthen economic, political, security, and intelligence relations with Armenia, he said, adding that expanding and strengthening relations, which will lead to the preservation of territorial integrity and prevent the creation of the Zangezur corridor.

According to him, Iran is the only country that has maximum continuity of interests with Armenia. To preserve territorial integrity and security, Armenia can count on Iran's economic, political, informational, and military assistance, as well as security assistance, he added
