The Turkish MP of Armenian origin Garo Paylan, who is in Armenia these days, wrote on his Facebook that he is returning from the other side of Mount Ararat to the side.

Paylan writes that the time has come to open the border between Turkey and Armenia, to establish a lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He noted that wars are a defeat for everyone, "let's all take responsibility for lasting peace, let's win altogether."

The Armenian-Turkish border is closed on Turkey's initiative. Ankara supports Azerbaijan by political and military means, demanding that Armenia stop supporting Artsakh and at the same time, renounce its demand for international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, which Turkey itself denies.
