A four-wheel drive station wagon Jaguar X-Type Estate, which belonged to Britain's Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) will be put up for auction at the English auction house Historics Auctioners. As was reported on Wednesday by the organizers of the auction, which will be held on November 26, the starting and minimum sale price for this lot will not be set, so in theory it can go under the hammer for even 1 pound.

In this case, it is expected that the lot will attract increased attention of collectors, because Elizabeth II only recently passed away. Her Majesty died on September 8 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland and was buried at Windsor Castle on September 19.

Elizabeth II was the first owner of the car, released in 2009, and, according to the Daily Mail, used it until this spring. The roomy car, the trunk of which is dog-friendly, has a six-cylinder, three-liter gasoline engine. The royal car has a mileage of 72,500 miles (117,000 km).

The color of the car is claimed as metallic green. The interior is trimmed with light beige leather and wood elements on the dashboard, steering wheel and automatic transmission. The car is equipped with climate control, power windows and a sunroof.

Cars from the British royal family's fleet, including those driven by Elizabeth II herself, are regularly auctioned off and sold for five- and six-figure sums.
