The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence organization has neutralized a group of terrorists in southwestern Iran, Mehr reports, citing an informed security source.

The subversive and terrorist group in Khuzestan, which was supported and led by an unnamed European country, was neutralized before any action could be taken.

The detained terrorists confessed to planning the assassination as well as organizing riots such as those in Zahedan and Ardabil.
