The Ministry of Economy of Armenia will continue to implement various types of agricultural programs in 2023; it is planned to allocate 37 billion 935 million drams (approx. US$98 million) for these purposes. Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan stated this in the National Assembly (NA), at Monday’s joint session of NA standing committees, during the latter’s debates on the draft 2023 state budget of Armenia.

The minister noted that in 2022, a total of 31 billion 905 million drams were allocated for these purposes.

"In 2021, the actual funding amounted to 24 billion 170 million drams," Khachatryan informed.
