Iran's Information Ministry on Monday reported the arrest of 26 terrorists involved in the armed attack on the Shah Cherah Mausoleum in Shiraz.

The set of surveillance, research and operational measures taken so far has contributed to the identification and detention of all those who led, participated in and supported the attack, the report said, according to Tasnim.

Besides, a number of people who came to the country to commit other similar acts were also detained.

According to the agency, the statement claimed that all detainees have citizenship of foreign countries - Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
