Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili received Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan on Thursday. Garibashvili congratulated the ambassador on assuming the post and wished him fruitful work in Georgia.
The sides exchanged views on traditional friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Armenia and Georgia.
Regional security issues were touched upon and the necessity of establishing lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus was stressed.
