First Deputy Chairman of Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Kazbek Taysaev said the issues of banning Zatulin's entry into Armenia should be resolved. His remarks came during a meeting with journalists in Yerevan on Thursday, answering a question about banning Russian State Duma deputy from CIS Konstantin Zatulin from entering Armenia.

"We have discussed this issue with the Armenian side. I hope this issue is being worked out," Taysaev noted.

He expressed confidence that a solution to this issue will be found in the near future.

The deputy recalled Russia and Armenia's intention to deepen interparliamentary cooperation.

At the end of October it became known that Armenian authorities declared the entry of first Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Konstantin Zatulin undesirable.

Zatulin said that the decision of the Armenian authorities would not affect his pro-Armenian activities.
