Two Iranian nationals have been injured in a road accident in Armenia.

At 9:17pm on Thursday, the Syunik provincial crisis management center was informed that a truck had gone off road on the Sisian-Gorayk motorway, ended up in the middle of a field, and the help of rescuers was needed.

It was found out that the aforesaid truck had gone off road on the Sisian-Yerevan motorway, slid about 15 meters into the middle of a field, and turned to its side, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The rescuers who arrived at the scene carried the trucker—an Iranian citizen—and the passenger—also an Iranian national—to a waiting ambulance.

They were hospitalized in Sisian Medical Center where the doctors said the driver was in moderate condition, and the passenger—in satisfactory condition.
