The guitar of ex-beatle Paul McCartney was sold for $77 000 at a three-day auction at Julien's. The money raised will go to support victims of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. It is reported on the site of the auction.

In addition, Julien's raised $31,000 on the sale of the guitar of Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and more than $11,000 - the Mexican band Maná.

In the summer of 2022 the Gibson manufacturer released a limited edition electric guitar painted in the colors of the Ukrainian flag and began collaborating with international stars who performed with these guitars at their concerts. In addition to McCartney, Slash and the band Maná, Gibson has been supported by Chic founder Nyle Rodgers, My Chemical Romance and The Rolling Stones and actor Jason Momoa.

The auction will close Nov. 13 with more than 1,500 lots, which previously belonged to Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Madonna and others.
