The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) struck the positions of terrorist groups operating near the country's western borders in Iraqi Kurdistan.
IRGC ground forces shelled the terrorist groups' positions using multiple rocket launchers, high-precision weapons and drones, Fars reported.
The report came after IRGC base commander Hamze Seyyed al-Shohada said security forces arrested more than 100 members of separatist and terrorist groups, including the so-called Komala Party and the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, which played a role in the recent unrest in Iran.
