The French Senate will consider a resolution on sanctions against Azerbaijan at a meeting on Tuesday.

The session will start at 2:30 p.m. Paris time.

The resolution provides for sanctions against Azerbaijan, immediate withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from Armenia, implementation of ceasefire agreements in accordance with the statement of November 9, 2020, assistance to all initiatives aimed at achieving lasting peace between the two countries.

Senator Bruno Retailleau will introduce the resolution, and numerous senators supported the initiative.
