Toyota has revealed a new generation of the Prius hybrid model. About this reports press-service of the brand.

The car is built on a new platform TNGA. The model has received narrow LED headlights, wide air intake and rear monoflash extending across the width of the body.

The interior has a digital dashboard and a media system screen, under which there are two central air vents and a small horizontal block of function keys.

There will be two versions of the car on the market. The first is a plug-in hybrid with a total output of 223 hp from 0 to 100 km / h such a car can accelerate in 6.7 seconds.

The second variant is a parallel hybrid working on the basis of two petrol engines at a choice: 1,8- or 2,0-liter internal combustion engine with total capacity up to 193 hp. Sales of the fifth-generation Toyota Prius are scheduled to start in December 2022.
