Fourteen freight cars derailed in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan. Reportedly, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. Restoration works are being carried out at the site of the accident, reports Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways).
The incident occurred on Thursday at 06:15 on the railway line in Karaganda region.
Now the movement of passenger and freight trains is suspended.
According to preliminary data, the derailment occurred due to a malfunction of cars. Their owners are private owners. An investigation will be conducted.
