A fire broke out on Thursday in one of the halls of Baghdad International Airport two days after the previous one, there were no casualties, Shafaq news agency reported.

The fire broke out in the two-story Neinawa hall, where the VIP terminal and offices of travel agencies are located, the agency reported.

Fifteen fire brigades arrived on the scene and managed to extinguish the fire. "There were no casualties, and the civil defense called for a criminal expert to take samples from the scene of the fire and determine its cause," the publication reported.

Flights from the airport are proceeding normally, the airport administration noted.
