A plane carrying 53 rescue dogs on a flight from Louisiana to Wisconsin crashed on a snow-covered golf course in the United States, the Mirror reported.

Fire Chief Tony Wasilewski was trying to get the crates of animals out from under the wreckage of the plane.

At one point, one of the rescued dogs jumped into Tony's arms and began to lick him. It later became known that he had taken the dog home with him. The others were distributed to shelters.

All of the crew survived, but three people and several other puppies sustained minor bruises. The cause of the crash is being determined at this time.
