The president of Azerbaijan has accused Armenia of attempting to push Baku into a conflict with the CSTO countries, and assured that these attempts have "failed."

"We [i.e., Azerbaijan] are not a member of the CSTO. Armenia is a member of this organization, and through this organization, it aimed to present groundless demands to Azerbaijan. But in reality, it wanted to push the member countries that are part of it into conflict with Azerbaijan. This is a big provocation and a big crime," Ilham Aliyev said, adding that "this provocation of Armenia failed and the CSTO countries did not obey it."

"This means that our friends in the organization are more than those of Armenia. Why is the attitude towards Armenia so negative? Because they [i.e., Armenia] lie everywhere. And in order to solve their problems, there is no door left that they don't knock on, as they say. All this is obvious, everyone knows about it," added the president of Azerbaijan.
