The price of gas in Europe jumped by 2.2 percent on Gazprom's statement about a possible reduction in transit through Ukraine starting from 28 November. This is evidenced by the data of the London-based ICE exchange. The total increase in prices since the beginning of the day is 4%, reports TASS.

The cost of December futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands rose to $1,282 per thousand cubic meters, or €120.595 per MWh (based on the current euro-dollar exchange rate, prices at ICE are in euros per MWh).

Earlier, "Gazprom" has recorded a settling of Russian gas in Ukraine, which was to be supplied to Moldova, and from November 28, it will start reducing gas supplies for transit through Ukraine in the amount of daily undersupply, if the transit imbalance persists.
