The joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers, and the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CSTO countries began Wednesday in Yerevan.

During the event, the military and political situation of CSTO collective security regions will be discussed.

During the session, the statements are expected by the ministers of foreign affairs of the CSTO member states on the strengthening of the international and regional security structure and armaments, disarmament and non-proliferation, as well as the statements by the secretaries of the security councils, in which all kinds of attempts to glorify Nazism, neo-Nazism, extremism, chauvinism, and xenophobia will be condemned.

It is planned to adopt the decision of the Committee of Secretaries of CSTO Security Councils "On the Composition of the Coordination Council of the Authorized Bodies of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on Biological Security Issues".

The CSTO comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Russia.
