The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border will be discussed separately at the CSTO summit. CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov told Sputnik Armenia about this Wednesday.

"Today, that topic will be discussed on a separate issue at the level of ministers and heads of state. So, let's wait for the results," Semerikov said.

According to him, certain preparations have been made and a respective announcement will be made at the ministerial level.

When asked how he assesses CSTO's reaction to Azerbaijan's military aggression against Armenia in September, Semerikov replied that it was in line with the crisis response provision of this organization.

The CSTO summit will be held in Yerevan today. Armenia has been chairing this organization since January, and now the respective “baton” will be passed to Belarus.

The CSTO consists of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
