On November 22, two Saudi nationals accused of drug-related crimes were executed on the territory of Saudi Arabia.

According to The Guardian, former British Conservative Party Minister David Davis sent a letter to British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and the Saudi ambassador to Britain asking them to delay the enforcement of a similar sentence against Jordanian Hussein Abo al-Heira, accused of selling amphetamine pills.

A total of 17 people have been executed in Saudi Arabia in the past two weeks, most on drug offenses, one of whom was beheaded with a sword.
