The CSTO adopted a statement on the strengthening of international and regional security architecture, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The participants of the joint Yerevan meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers, and the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CSTO member countries and of the Yerevan meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council on Wednesday adopted a number of statements by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states on topical issues on the international agenda, including a statement developed at the initiative of Belarus on strengthening the architecture of international and regional security and arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation.

“At the joint meeting, a number of documents on pressing issues of development and improvement of the CSTO were approved, which were submitted for consideration to the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council,” the Belarusian MFA added.
