The Collective Security Treaty Organization failed to agree on a declaration, outgoing CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas said at a final briefing.

According to him, two documents were not adopted. They are the draft decision on rendering assistance to Armenia and the declaration.

"The document (on rendering assistance - ed.) is in a high degree of readiness, a set of measures in the current difficult situation related to the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has been agreed upon. The document was deemed generally prepared, but needs to be finalized. It was commissioned to finalize it and submit to the heads of states for signing. The same is true about the declaration. The degree of readiness is high, but a number of corrections will have to be made to the document," Zas said.

According to him, it is a normal process, no international organization where everyone thinks the same.

As previously reported, the SCB has agreed and approved 15 documents.
