The U.S. is sending another $400 million package of military aid to Ukraine in the form of ammunition and generators, the White House said.

Including the latest aid, the U.S. has given Ukraine more than $19 billion worth of weapons and other equipment, the AP reports.

The latest package includes 200 generators, an undisclosed number of additional rounds for both NASAMS advanced air defense systems and HIMARS artillery systems that the U.S. has supplied Ukraine, 150 large-caliber machine guns with thermal imaging sights to kill drones, 10,000 120-mm mortar rounds and another 20 million rounds of small arms ammunition, among other things, the Pentagon said.

However, the continued supply of weapons to Kiev raises questions about how long the U.S. and partner countries will be able to continue the fight without compromising their own military readiness. Many European countries have already stated that they have sent all the surplus they could afford to send.
