Economic ties between Armenia and Russia are developing at a great pace. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Yerevan.

"I noticed that this year exports from Armenia to Russia have increased by 80 percent. Of course, this is due to some changes in logistics chains, but in general this is a fact that creates opportunities, new opportunities for economic cooperation.

I welcome you again.

And of course today we have already discussed and will discuss regional issues, regional security issues. There are many issues, and I also talked about this during today's meeting - the observance of the trilateral agreements, the statements that [we] made with the President of Azerbaijan with your help and through your mediation. These are very important issues that, of course, we must discuss, and discuss an agenda that we hope will lead to long-term peace in our region," he noted.
