Information about the president's message, in which he will allegedly announce the "mobilization of the country," is not true, spokesman for the head of state Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the online edition of Pravda.ru wrote that Putin would make the address before the end of the year. It allegedly will talk about "the mobilization of soldiers and officers as well as the economy, the new world rules of the game and the fate of all Russians."
When asked whether this information was true, Peskov responded in the negative.
On October 28 the Ministry of Defense reported to Vladimir Putin about completion of draft according to partial mobilization announced on September 21. According to Sergei Shoigu, head of the Defense Ministry, the planned 300,000 people were drafted.
