India is becoming more sensitive about Azerbaijan's ambitions towards Armenia. Armenian Ambassador to India Armen Baibourtian told this to reporters on Monday.

Armenia, which is a friendly country to India, is subjected to Azerbaijani military aggression and, according to Baibourtian, this is how New Delhi perceives the situation.

He added that this not only does not reduce India's sensitivity towards Armenia, but, on the contrary, increases it.

"It’s about conducting a more careful, sensitive policy. At the same time, India has established relations with Azerbaijan, too; but in the case of Armenia, these relations are at a qualitatively higher level. In the UN framework, India and Armenia support each other, their positions coincide with a vast majority, much more often than with the same Azerbaijan. It means that the interests coincide," Ambassador Baibourtian said.
