During Monday's meeting in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, Philip Reeker, the US State Department Senior Adviser for Caucasus Negotiations and the US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. We learn about this from the Facebook page of the US embassy in Azerbaijan.

Reeker, “underscored continued U.S. support for direct talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia as the two sides work toward a lasting peace agreement. He cited [US] Secretary [of State Antony] Blinken’s remarks that direct dialogue is the best way to peace. Ambassador Reeker underscored U.S. support for the peace process and urged the two sides to schedule further talks, and to take concrete steps on measures to set the stage for peace,” the embassy added.
