Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov received Pakistani Navy Commander Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

During the meeting the parties particularly stressed the importance of developing both bilateral and trilateral military cooperation with the participation of Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Turkey.

They also discussed prospects for cooperation in military, military-technical and military education between the countries, as well as issues of mutual interest.
