As part of a coordinated effort to clear Ukraine of mines, the European Union (EU) has decided to allocate 1.2 million euros to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) engineers working on Ukrainian territory, EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrell said on Twitter.

"The OSCE institutions and operations continue their efforts to bring stability in this grim environment. The EU will continue its steadfast support to the organisation. We will provide €1.2 million for OSCE demining activities in Ukraine," he said in his message.
