Security in Eastern Europe and throughout Eurasia will depend on the outcome of a special operation in Ukraine and the arrangements made following its results, said Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas at a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the organization in Moscow, reports TASS.

"State of security of the entire Eastern European region and the whole Eurasian space, as well as the whole architecture of international security will probably depend on the outcome of a special military operation and peace agreements on its results," said Zass.

Earlier CSTO Secretary General stated that the resolution of conflicts in the organization's area of responsibility is a "common task." According to him, the priority of Belarus' presidency in the CSTO in 2023 will be "solving all existing conflicts in the area of responsibility" of the organization, and he expressed confidence that it would be in demand.
