The State Security Service of Abkhazia is checking the information about the possible terrorist threat on the territory of the republic, the official website of the State Security Service of Abkhazia noted. 

"The service carries out a complex of operational and investigative measures aimed at checking information about a possible terrorist threat on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia," the report says.

The law enforcement agencies urge residents of Abkhazia to remain calm and to be vigilant.
