Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traditionally meets December 6, the day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at the front lines with the soldiers who hold the defense and protect the country.

Thus, Zelenskyy published in his Telegram another video greeting to the soldiers of the AFU, recorded in Slavyansk in Donetschina, reports UNIAN.

"Gentlemen officers, sergeants, soldiers! Dear servicemen! Dear veterans! From the bottom of my heart, on behalf of Ukraine, I congratulate you with a great holiday, with this great day - the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! From year to year we included from different places, worshipping our fighters, reporting from different cities of our country. And always we begin to remember our fallen heroes. All those who gave their lives for Ukraine. All whose memory I ask to honor with a moment of silence - find that moment today, it is very important! Traditionally I meet this day at the front line with our fighters. Today we are in the Donbas. The war zone has grown larger. The fighting is harder. The price - higher. But there is something that remains unchanged, constant, steely - your courage, your endurance, your will, and therefore our freedom. Your indestructibility, hence our independence. Your valor and our gratitude for it! Your courage is our pride in it. Proud of you all! We are proud of our land forces, our air forces, our naval forces, proud of our Special Operations forces, our military intelligence, our airborne assault troops. We are proud of all the Armed Forces of Ukraine! The liberation of our beautiful cities of Irpen, Borodyanka, Bucha, through Bakhmut, Izyum, Balakleya, through Kherson, Kharkov and Freedom Square, Kramatorsk and Peace Square. And of course the way to Maidan Independence and our will is through a free Donetsk, Luhansk and of course Crimea. All actions lead to freedom. All steps - to the victory, free, peaceful and independent Ukraine," said the president.
