If Azerbaijanis close the Lachin corridor, it would be a gross violation of the trilateral statement of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan of November 9, 2020, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during the governmental hour at the National Assembly on Wednesday, commenting on the incident that occurred in the Lachin corridor last Saturday.

According to the minister, negotiations with Russian peacekeepers allowed the problem to be resolved.

"I believe that the parties can only show discontent within the framework of fixed agreements. Making new demands in a rather fragile situation can only lead to another escalation," said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
